Party Dress for Night Out
Did you ever have that feeling that you don’t know what to wear for a night out with the girls (or guys of course)? Remember, your outfit is going to say about what you have in mind for the evening. It conveys the style you have, the type of guy you’re into, and whether you’re introverted or extroverted. I’ve got hundreds of dresses that I’ve collected over the last two years alone, and no matter how much I understand about fashion, I never seem to know what to wear, just like every other girl out there. So to not only help you, but help myself, I’ve decided to put my thoughts into words, and tell you about some of my favorite styles for my next party.
The Little Black Dress
Isn’t it obvious? The little black dress never fails, and it’s probably one of the few dresses you can wear more than once if you’re a broke party girl like myself. The shorter it is says a lot about your intentions, so make sure to know what you’re doing before rocking one of these out for the night. Remember, you’re not going to stick out from the crowd with this one.
A dress with a colorful flower look use to be a bit trashy, but the colors they’ve got going on with them these days are some of my favorites. Keep the colors a little dull and it’s the perfect touch. If you go too loud, you’re going to look a little foolish in this. Other than that, it’s the perfect summer dress for an outdoor party.
I love neon when I want to get attention. A hot pink or a hot yellow screams from the crowd, so make sure you’re not going to be standing against a wall the entire time. If you’re a fun loving girl who loves to party it up a bit, this lets all the guys know that you’re out to have a good time, and if you play your cards right, you’ll have all of them begging for your attention.
It’s an old style like the flowers, but it’s a bit wilder. The leopard print looks amazing when I put it on, especially if I’ve got the right accessories to go along with it. I prefer a white dress with brown leopard print to anything else. Other prints like the gold and black don’t quite do it for me. It almost feels like an 80’s touch, so make sure to wow your hair up a little bit, and go with uneven ends for a rock star touch.
I know that people say stripes make you look fatter, but I simply don’t believe that to be true. I have several blue and light blue dresses that have black stripes that are uneven but parallel. The style goes great with some big bracelets and it gives everyone a feeling that you have a sophisticated vibe to yourself. It also lets guys know that you’re not going to be so quick to give it up, so I tend to wear this one a lot.
Remember that you make a statement with what you wear. Just because it looks good doesn’t mean that you should be rocking it out to your next party. You wouldn’t want to give off the wrong signals.
